Associate Client Advisor | 13+ Years Facilitating Career & Earnings Growth for Lawyers & HR Professionals | Known for My Uncompromising Commitment to… We're working with a well-regarded government legal team in Brisbane that's looking to appoint a Senior Employment Lawyer to join their in-house workplace law team. The role can be offered as a fixed-term contract or as a permanent position , depending on your preference and experience.

You'll be joining a team known for its collaborative culture and high-quality advisory work and for offering something increasingly rare : genuine work-life balance.

The Work This is a senior position in a high-performing team with a strong internal reputation for delivering excellent advice. Reporting to an Assistant Director, your work will include :

Advising on public sector employment issues Handling matters under both the state and federal IR systems Running and advising on anti-discrimination matters Providing advice on WorkCover reviews and related regulatory issues Drafting written and verbal advice Statutory interpretation and reviewing decisions by government bodies Helping to deliver training to government clients Preparing legal updates and briefings on emerging issues. A realistic daily target of 5.5 billable hours Flexible work options, including remote work and flexi-time 12.75% super and 17.5% leave loading RDOs and other government benefits Total remuneration from $147K to $157K, depending on your level Ongoing training and development – you'll learn from some of the best. Who We're Looking For : Minimum 5 years post admission experience You've worked in employment law (government or private sector) and have a solid grasp of industrial relations You're admitted in Queensland and can practise in federal courts You enjoy writing, thinking, and problem-solving, and you're comfortable advising senior clients You're looking for meaningful work in a team that will support you professionally and personally.
