About the role

Calvary is offering a unique opportunity for a dynamic HR Professional to make a difference as part of our people team.

As a People and Culture Partner, you will play a key role in supporting managers with a wide range of HR matters, including performance management, grievances, workplace investigations, and disciplinary processes. You will become the go-to expert, providing invaluable advice across a variety of employee relations issues, as well as providing coaching, and support to our amazing team of people leaders and employees across Calvary Hospitals, Aged Care, and Home Care.

  • Your main duties will include

The main focus of the role is case managing the full range of employment relations matters, including but not limited to disciplinary investigations, grievances and performance management.

Provided accurate and timely advice, coaching and support managers and employees across all aspects of people and culture matters.

Support the People and Culture Manager and other leaders with change initiatives, review and classification of position descriptions, develop change and communication plans, facilitation of consultation with unions and employees whilst ensuring adherence to industrial instruments.

Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, grievances, investigations, and compliance reporting.

Independently undertake complex case management and act as a point of escalation within the People and Culture team.

About you

Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.

Extensive experience in performance management, project management, workforce development, and industrial / employee relations.

Proven ability to interpret industrial instruments such as Awards and Enterprise Agreements.

Strong analytical skills for leading workplace investigations and disciplinary processes.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders.

In-depth understanding of labour laws, workplace legislation, and compliance standards.

Experience managing diverse HR cases, complex workplace investigations and providing advice on ER matters.
