Pinnaroo OOSH is a community-based Out of School Hours Care service licensed for 110 children, operating out of Winmalee Public School.

We are fortunate to have a supportive team, with passionate educators leading each quality area and engaged parents managing our committee.

We are a wage retention grant applicant and pay above award rates to educators in line with the grant.

The Roles Our leadership team collaborates to guide our practice, aiming for high-quality care for our community. We seek enthusiastic educators to join us in new and existing leadership roles, bringing fresh ideas and individuality to our service.

We value our educators highly, offering substantial in-house training and paid professional development opportunities for successful candidates.

Available Roles :

Families and Communities Leader (QA6) Environment and Sustainability (QA3) Inclusion Support Educator (new IDFM funded position to support the children in our care!) Hours : 20-30 hours per week (dependent on candidate preference), including :

Minimum four afternoons per week - 3 or 4-hour shifts between 2 – 6.30 pm Optional mornings between 6.30 am – 9 am Additional shifts and hours available during Vacation Care. Exact hours are negotiable for the right candidate.

Minimum of 4 hours paid administration time weekly outside of face-to-face hours, including programming, meetings, and Quality Area tasks.

Responsibilities Hands-on supervision and care of children during face-to-face hours, including implementing programmed activities Weekly programming and documentation Leading the key quality area in line with MTOP and NQS, managing projects, and guiding practice Maintaining a high standard of care in a safe, happy, and professional environment "Responsible Person on Duty" responsibilities during delegated shifts Requirements include recent experience in an OOSH / OSHC or Early Childhood environment, knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, NQS, and Regulations, program planning experience (mentoring available), teamwork, initiative, communication, and organizational skills. Certifications such as CHCPRT025 and HLTAID004, and a valid WWCC are also required.
