The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Primary Teacher to join our teaching team and enrich the learning of our students.

You will work alongside a passionate and supportive team committed to achieving positive learning outcomes for each student. More specifically you will :
Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.Accreditation to teach RE or the commitment to complete courses to meet Accreditation requirements.Inspire a love of learning in their studentsBe engaging and innovativeDemonstrate a commitment to unleashing the potential of each studentBe committed to the continual improvement of your teaching practice and receptive to opportunities for personal and professional development.Have active listening skills and the ability to engage with and build strong positive relationships with members of the school community including employees, students and parentsHave the ability to cater for students with diverse backgrounds, needs and abilitiesMaintain industry currency, sharing their passion for learningStructure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of your studentsCreate and maintain a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plansEvaluate all aspects of your teaching practice to ensure you are meeting the learning needs of each studentInterpret and use student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and to challenge students to improve their performanceEffectively manage the learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents / carersPlease address the above criteria in your cover letter
