Ecommerce Content Copywriter - The Athletes Foot

In this newly created role, we are seeking a talented SEO Copywriter to join us for a temporary 12 month project revamping the Athletes Foot website. We will be duplicating existing content over to the new version of the website and writing new content which will be clear, concise, SEO friendly and position us as an expert in running and sports content.

• Your key responsibilities will include the following
• Ensure the smooth transition of existing website content to the new website - with potential for re-writes and updating where appropriate.
• Collaborate with the internal SEO team to research and target relevant keywords and phrases with new engaging content.
• Ensure all copy adheres to The Athlete's Foot brand voice and tone.
• Collaborate with the marketing & training teams to ensure content adheres to our key product training principles.
• Provide product enrichment support writing product copy and uploading product imagery.
• Provide additional team support when required.
• To be successful you will ideally have the following
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience as an SEO copywriter or similar role.
• Interest in sports, with a detailed understanding of running shoes a plus.
• Proven track record of creating SEO-friendly content that ranks well in search engines.
• Excellent writing skills with a strong command of Australian English grammar and spelling.
• Experience with SEO tools and keyword research is a plus.
• You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for crafting engaging website copy.
• You possess a strong understanding of SEO best practices and can optimise content for relevant keywords.
• You have experience rewriting existing content while maintaining its core message and SEO value.
• A quick learner who can adapt to new styles and brand voices.
• You're comfortable working independently and meeting deadline
• Familiarity with Magento Ecommerce Platform or content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
