• What You'll Do
• Conduct railcar inspections to ensure cars are in compliance.
• Perform repairs as necessary while always using current repair procedures.
• Meet the expectations and requirements of all customers to ensure we deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure all necessary invoicing, inspection, and work order information is accurate and complete.
• Have the ability to pass any required NDT disciplines and function specific certifications, which may include tank car welding, and demonstrates strong familiarity with AAR rules and regulations.
• Actively participate in safety assessments, equipment inspections.
• Able to perform confined space monitoring and create hot work permits.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Requirements
• Able to travel anytime. May require 25% overnight travel.
• Ability to learn basic railcar knowledge.
• Ability to obtain the following within 6 - 12 months (timeline and required test depend on specific location) : Welding and Airbrake Test certifications.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of how to read Engineering drawings
• Ability to pass DOT Requirements is a plus

Understand and perform all work outlined under Supervision
