The role

Our Sector Performance team is currently seeking to appoint a Senior Performance Analyst to undertake reviews and analysis of councils short and long term performance contribute to the implementation of performance measurement frameworks and ensure that councils comply with relevant statutory requirements.

In the role as a Senior Performance Analyst youll be diving into the performance of local councils with an emphasis on financial performance; analysing trends identifying risks and helping shape smarter more sustainable outcomes for communities across NSW. Youll be part of a team that ensures councils are not only meeting their obligations but also continuously improving how they serve the public.

Its a dynamic environment where youll need to balance multiple priorities navigate complex legislation and provide clear evidencebased advice to both internal and external stakeholders. About You :

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to collect analyse and interpret project and financial data.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g. Excel)
  • Effective communication skillsboth written and verbal.
  • Solid time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
