Rise Espresso Cafe is a community-focused cafe in Lavington, operating as an affiliate of Kirinari Community Services. The cafe is dedicated to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where every purchase supports locals living with disabilities and vulnerable youth. With a seasonal menu and a strong commitment to social impact. Rise Espresso offers a unique, inviting space for both customers and staff.

About The Role

The Food and Beverage Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a variety of dining settings, ensuring efficient food and beverage service, and assisting with a variety of front of house and back of house tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for :

Take accurate food and beverage orders, process transactions, and handle cash or card payments in line with company proceduresPrepare and serve hot and cold beverages (including espresso-based drinks) and light food items, following established recipes and presentation standardsDeliver food and beverages to tables promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visitMaintain cleanliness and organisation in the dining and service areas, including clearing tables, restocking supplies and sanitising surfacesMonitor inventory levels of food, beverages and supplies, assisting with restocking and reporting shortagesSupport the cafe's inclusive culture by treating all customers and team members with respect and empathy, reflecting Rise Espresso's community focus

About You

Available to work Mondays and Tuesdays between 6am and 3pmAbility to work efficiently in a fast paced, team oriented settingPrevious experience in a cafe or hospitality is highly regardedAttention to detail in order taking, food preparation and cleanlinessExcellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and inclusive environmentExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
