  • have a fantastic opportunity for a
  • HSE Advisor
  • to work for a well-established mid tier construction contractor. This is a fulltime, permanent opportunity working commercial construction projects in the Perth metropolitan area.
  • Your responsibilities may include
  • Provide support and direction on all HSE related matters.
  • Assist with incident management, risk mitigation, injuries and return to work management.
  • Supervise construction activities providing advice to minimise risks and ensure compliance with OHS legislation, established workplace rules and the HSE Management Plan.
  • Conduct health and safety inductions for new employees.
  • Be the key implementer of HSEQ strategies and the focal point for any related queries.
  • Coordinate and contribute to regular pre-start safety meetings to drive continuous improvement of HSE processes and procedures.
  • Collate materials for toolbox talks, HSE-related meetings and pre-starts.
  • Schedule intermittent auditing of ISO accreditations to ensure continuous compliance.
  • Liaise with Project Manager to discuss ways to implement Work, Health and Safety systems.
  • Continuously encourage and promote a "safety-first" culture in the workplace.
  • Essential criteria
  • 2+ years experience in a HSE Advisory position.
  • Ideally have HammerTech software experience.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety are advantageous.
  • Previous experience within the construction sector.
  • Proven Risk Management Services experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE practices and current legislation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications.
