Occupational Therapist - Rehabilitation Consultant

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to support people to  Return to Work  after sustaining an injury or illness  AND  to support  Activities of Daily Living Assessment and equipment trials  for individuals as a result of work-related injury or illness and  Support Needs Assessments . Every day is different but each day you will have the opportunity to assist people to return to wellness work and ultimately experience an improved quality of life :

• Engage in formal and experiential training to develop the skills you need to feel competent and confident in your role;
• Assess client needs develop strategies and interventions for a safe return to pre-injury activities;
• Play an important role in a multidisciplinary approach to recovery and return to work always with your clients best interests at heart;
• Perform assessments such as initial assessments functional capacity assessments early intervention home worksite and ergonomic assessments as well as vocational assessments;
• Build rapport with key stakeholders throughout the process including the ill or injured individual their treating health practitioners employers and insurers.
