Civil Project Engineers - Road Projects - GenQLD

We have upcoming requirements for  Civil Project Engineers  for the Brisbane & / or greater QLD region interested in joining us and capable of committing to the following assignment for a period of approximately 1 - 2 years with a possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects.

This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer  (or Site Engineer with exposure to Quality Systems to step up into a PE role), with up to 7 years road construction and / or NDRRA delivery experience.

You would need to be experienced with the following areas.

Due to the terrain, there may be complex geotechnical issues to challenge you as well as major rock fill, earthworks, embankments, block walls pavements & drainage works.

Responsible for providing assistance with, coordinating and supervising technical aspects of Projects.  Conducting quality assurance, some project administration and reporting.

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and prioritising;
• Exposure & understanding of TMR policies, standards & specifications;
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships;
• Computer literacy, in established industry programs;
• Well developed organising and problem solving skills;
• High attention to detail;
• Committed to HSE & QA Policies and procedures.

Mandatory Requirements

A valid driver's licence and own mobile phone.

The role is proposed to be 5-6 days per week.  The roles are Brisbane & / or QLD based, however some work away in regional or remote locations may be required depending on requirements.

You must have the right to work in Australia, with well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills and a current drivers licence.
