Pharmacy Imprest Technician

The Opportunity

Ramsay Health Care has an opportunity for a Pharmacy Imprest Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Pharmacy Procurement Team Leader this role will maintain and control the supply of imprest in the hospital wards with a focus on costs.

Key role accountabilities include :

• Ensure supply of requested products / services to clients is completed in an efficient accurate professional friendly and expedient manner
• Maintain and control the supply of imprest at the designated wards in order to minimise medication expenditure to hospitals
• Assist with accounts payable functions
• Be involved in and aware of Dispensary / Pharmacys obligation to supply products in the most cost-effective and clinically appropriate way
• Maintain imprest levels at the designated wards including ordering and supply in a timely manner
• Assist with stock control to ensure that adequate stock is kept in the ward locations
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure that Dispensary / Pharmacy Department delivers the highest level of customer service
