We are looking for passionate and caring individuals to make a difference in our Aged C are clients' lives by assisting them to live at home independently for as long as possible.

You will be travelling around the Blacktown area and will need to have some availability during weekdays Monday to Friday between 8am-5pm.

Preferably 3 -5 days)

Day to day your role looks like : Light housekeeping such as vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cleaning the bathroom & kitchen, changing beds and washingTransport to appointments and shoppingMeal preparationSocial Support or Respite for family / carersPersonal care including assistance with showering and dressing ( if qualified / fully trained)To be successful in this role you'll need A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyTo be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of peopleTo be a reliable team playerAn understanding of workplace health and safetyAn Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable insured motor vehicle (essential)Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (preferred but not essential as y ou can complete this through us )What we can offer you Competitive hourly pay rate + Km reimbursement (99c per Km) + paid travel timeNot-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less taxFitness Passport40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you choose to moveA values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgroundsWe know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
