Finance Manager | Marketing Agency

We are proud to be exclusively representing a well-established organisation currently undergoing a key transformation within their finance function. They’re looking for a Finance Manager who can come in, embed robust financial processes, and become a permanent fixture in their team. Someone who will move from acting as a “change consultant” into a longstanding internal leader.

This is a unique opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact by strengthening financial controls, developing a reliable reporting cadence, and delivering valuable insight to stakeholders across the business.

Key Skills and Experience

• Commercial and technical expertise : You will bring a strong finance background, both in technical controls and commercial application;
• Process builder : Experience designing and implementing financial processes that enable future growth and stability;
• Collaborative : Ability to work effectively across departments and become a true business partner;
• Adaptable and forward-looking : Comfort navigating change and thinking strategically about future financial needs; and
• Culture carrier : Naturally able to transition from consultant to internal leader, shaping and strengthening team culture.

To be successful in this role, a solid understanding of US accounting standards (US GAAP) is desirable. You'll be expected to apply US GAAP principles to financial controls, reporting, and policy decisions, ensuring the business maintains compliance while reflecting its financial position accurately.

Familiarity with revenue recognition, expense matching, and financial disclosure requirements under US GAAP will be key to delivering insightful financial reports and guiding stakeholders through a clear view of financial performance. Experience navigating US GAAP in a commercial setting will enable you to contribute immediately and help drive transformation across the finance function.
