Workday Financials Practice Lead

Primarily responsible in building the Finance practice, leading Workday Finance delivery team, ensuring timely and quality execution of client deliverables and providing consultation to clients on Workday projects. Expected to have a broad understanding of cross functional touch points and their impacts within the Workday system to effectively develop solutions to complex problems / projects across multiple domains or clients.

• Manage team of Workday Finance implementation team delivery, to work on project scope, timeline, risk and budget. Coordinate with others when applicable.
• Create work estimates and solutions for small to large bodies of work.
• Provide a proactive interface between the external clients and the internal staff to ensure effective coordination and delivery of Workday projects
• Provide consultation and develops solutions to complex problems / projects across multiple domains for client. Depending on scope of project, may coach team members to execute the delivery.
• Participate in client sales meetings, and create collateral where needed.

• Become a Subject Matter Expert in the Workday product suite with a broad-based knowledge of financials, while also being able to architect solutions within specific area(s).
• Develop working relationships with other members of project team and management as well as external clients. Share knowledge and information through regular communications and facilitation.
• Uses strong presentation, communication, listening and consultative skills to guide and drive discussions.
• Manage client expectations.
• Proactively identify trouble spots for client and recommend solutions, including consultation on impact of decision to operating post-implementation and downstream systems.
• Discuss and articulate to clients lessons learned from previous client experience, Workday best practices as well as Alight's Point of View.
• Significantly contribute to the development of internal resources via mentoring, coaching, and directing work.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding and champions project methodology and Alight best practices.
• Participate in building the Alight Brand by participating in Workday ecosystem product groups / chats and contributes advanced thinking and sharing of ideas within the ecosystem.
