We are looking for a motivated and reliable part-time Handyperson to work closely with our Maintenance Manager and assist in keeping our property in top condition. This is a permanent part-time role (2-3 days per week) offering the award base rate of $26.70 per hour.

Job Description

• Maintaining and repairing guest rooms, hotel facilities, plant rooms, and equipment, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
• Performing preventative maintenance and addressing curative repairs in a timely and guest-focused manner.
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Supporting the team by reviewing guest feedback, participating in improvement initiatives, and sharing ideas during meetings, and contributing to sustainability goals
• Communicate effectively with hotel staff to address urgent maintenance concerns
• Upholding safety standards, including compliance with OH&S procedures, correct use of PPE, and following emergency protocols.
• Keeping accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections, and daily reports using hotel systems.
