This role will partner with the business to develop and execute the strategic roadmap for commercial data and insights aligned with the VRC's strategic priorities, to taking the lead on improving customer data quality, working alongside technology to integrate data from multiple sources and enhancing accessibility across functions.You will be collaborating with senior leadership to integrate customer data and insights into strategy and data driven decision making.

What you'll bring o Proven experience in leading a high-performing commercial analytics, insights, and business intelligence function.

o Strategic thinker with the ability to align data-driven insights to broader business objectives and growth strategies.

o Extensive experience analysing large, complex data sets to uncover trends, opportunities and commercial risks.

o Exceptional ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive and senior leadership teams.

o Highly skilled in developing and presenting commercial dashboards, performance reports, and visualisations that drive decision-making.

o Strong commercial awareness with a deep understanding of key business drivers in a dynamic and competitive environment.

o Demonstrates outstanding financial and commercial acumen, with a focus on long-term value creation and sustainable business outcomes.

The VRC continues to achieve its vision of maintaining Flemington as a world leader in racing, event management and entertainment.
