Job description15+ years’ electrical design experience in mining / resources 5+ years in a senior / lead role within an engineering consultancy Strong background in HV / LV systems; power systems modelling and C&I experience desirable Proven leadership, communication, and project delivery skills Perth-based (office role) 12-month contract, ongoing potential Immediate start due to internal team movement
An experienced Lead Electrical Engineer is required to manage a multi-disciplinary team and drive the delivery of electrical engineering design across major and sustaining capital projects in the mining and resources sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and designers
- Oversee HV and LV system design, equipment specification, and QA / QC of deliverables
- Manage resource planning, budgets, estimates, and progress reporting
- Support recruitment, capability development, and process improvement
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering Leads across a diverse project portfolio
