Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist 6 month leave cover contract with possibility of extension.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is keen to develop their skills in a variety of clinical settings and thrive within the quick pace of a hospital environment.

Occupational therapists will have the opportunity to gain experience in the following clinical areas : Inpatient Rehabilitation Oncology General Medical Orthopaedics and Surgical.

Full time work available with part time job share and casual also considered.

About You

To be successful in this role you will meet the following selection criteria :

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
• Ability to effectively manage and balance a busy caseload and administrative responsibilities within a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate problem solving and clinical reasoning skills considering broader implications and longerterm impacts.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop client centred occupationally focussed treatment goals and intervention plans in collaboration with the patient multidisciplinary team and consulting physician.
