As part of our Infrastructure Program, as an Asset Planner, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and management of the City of Adelaide's Park Lands and Urban Elements assets. Your expertise will guide financial investments and infrastructure services through comprehensive Strategic Asset Management Planning.
In this role, you will develop lifecycle management strategies to minimise whole-of-life costs in alignment with community expectations and formulate risk management plans for critical assets. You will model service levels, risk, and budget scenarios to support informed decision-making. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure cohesive asset planning that meets community needs and aligns with strategic goals.
As an Asset Planner, you will create and update asset management plans to guide the Long-Term Financial Plan, annual Business Plan, and Budget, while also developing and maintaining strategic asset management documentation. Managing a detailed five-year capital works and planned maintenance programs will be essential, as well as preparing briefs to initiate capital works projects. You will oversee periodic condition audits and revaluations, integrating data into the corporate Asset Management System.
