- What you'll be doing
These accountabilities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Provide expert, evidence-based advice on procurement, category and contracts to support decision-making
- Foster a collaborative and innovative workplace culture
- Drive capability and performance improvement aligned with strategic objectives
- Lead and manage a leading practice procurement and supply chain function
- Manage senior stakeholders and drive initiatives across the organisation
- Ensure transparency, efficiency, and compliance in procurement practices
- Adhere to workplace safety and customer satisfaction standards
- Fulfill education and professional development requirements
- Promote Mater's Code of Conduct and Behavioural Standards
- Manage recruitment, training, and development of team members
- Develop and adhere to cost center budgets and fiscal stewardship practices
- Monitor operational and project costs to meet delivery expectations
- About you
- Relevant procurement or business qualification, highly desirable
- Extensive experience leading procurement functions in a large and diverse organisations
- Strong knowledge of commercial and contract negotiations, and contract and supplier management
- Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport and influence stakeholders
- Deep understanding of procurement principles and regulations in the not-for-profit and healthcare sectors
- Dynamic, positive, and customer-focused approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
