Key Responsibilities Achieve and exceed revenue targets, including sales and gross profit, as set by the Head of Commercial, by securing new opportunities, developing sales plans, growing sales with existing clients, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Attain and increase sales targets while maintaining gross profit within the allocated territory. Research and pursue new account customers. Plan and schedule face-to-face sales calls strategically. Build and maintain relationships with key accounts. Conduct regular site visits and inspections. Attend project toolbox meetings on-site. Pitch and secure new projects with contractors. Engage in system selling to builders to support contractor engagement. Deliver CPD (Continuing Professional Development) presentations with architects. Enhance product and industry knowledge to provide technical support to customers. Manage specific product groups as directed, becoming a field expert on quality issues, market intelligence, and sales growth for those groups. Participate in and support trade exhibitions when required. Utilize software like Phocas and other tools to analyze sales opportunities. Gather market intelligence on trends, opposition pricing, and new product opportunities to inform management. Use all relevant business software programs effectively. Participate in training and educational programs, documenting and implementing benefits.
