A Global leader in the minerals and resource industry, is seeking an experienced Document Control specialist to assist with a large-scale projects.

  • WA Major Projects Specialist Information Management / Document Control Role

Our client, a Global leader in the minerals and resource industry, is seeking an experienced Document Control specialist to assist with a large-scale project from within the corporate office based in Perth CBD

Roster : Full time 40 Hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Location : Perth

Reporting to the WA Major Projects Information Management Lead this role will support the commencement of a new major project. This role will work within a cohesive information management team with strong capabilities who can support and guide decision making, however, it will primarily work independently with the project team to develop, implement and encourage information management principles.

Other key accountabilities will include :

  • Responsible for the timely management of project information, including accurate registration, classification, workflow and distribution
  • Development of project information practices to meet Company requirements
  • Provides project information management support, guidance and governance to internal and external project participants
  • Provides expert knowledge of and guides adherence to BHP documentation standards and requirements
  • Provides robust reporting and analysis skills of system metadata
  • About You :

  • Experienced in project information management, you will have sound ability to communicate with all project teams and representatives as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy of data, other required attributes include;
  • Expert user in Electronic Document Management Systems Aconex & ProjectWise
  • Ability to manage change with resilience
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Aptitude to report and analyse information and metadata
  • Capability to independently prioritise and manage workload, to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-developed skills within the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel
