Supplier Manager

About the Role

As a Supplier Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation meets its regulatory obligations under APRA CPS230. Reporting to the Supplier Management Lead, you’ll be responsible for managing the onboarding, renewal, and governance of Material Service Provider (MSP) contracts. This includes driving compliance across procurement, cybersecurity, IT, and risk frameworks, while fostering strong partnerships between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

You’ll act as a trusted advisor to business units, ensuring vendor services align with strategic goals and regulatory expectations. From conducting due diligence and risk assessments to leading governance meetings and tracking performance, your work will directly contribute to operational resilience and risk mitigation across the business.

About you

You’re a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of supplier or vendor management, procurement, or contract administration ideally within a regulated industry like financial services. You bring a solid grasp of governance, risk, and compliance, and you’re confident navigating complex stakeholder environments.

You thrive in collaborative settings, communicate with clarity and influence, and are adept at balancing competing priorities. Your analytical mindset and structured approach help you solve problems effectively, while your commitment to continuous improvement ensures you’re always looking for ways to enhance supplier relationships and compliance outcomes.

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and familiarity with APRA Prudential Standards will set you up for success in this role. If this sounds like you, we would love to see your application!
