Over the coming decade, we will expand T1 International and build new domestic terminal facilities, a parallel runway, two multi-storey carparks, and our first airport hotel. This will deliver one airport for the people of Western Australia which will host all flight services in a central location, giving passengers a seamless, world-class travel experience.

Our team is currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Advisor – Environment Operations.

What you'll do : In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring Perth Airport's environmental compliance. Your day-to-day tasks will include :

Managing environmental compliance activities associated with operational activities. Leading the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System. Providing high-level technical advice. Overseeing environmental monitoring programs. Engaging with stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Leading the tenant audit program. Managing environmental incidents. Supporting project and operational teams. Mentoring team members and fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Contributing to continuous improvement in environmental performance. This position requires a proactive approach to risk management and business continuity, ensuring that Perth Airport remains a leader in environmental governance and stewardship.

About You : To be successful in this role, you will need :

A Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 10 years' experience. A solid understanding of the current legislative environment relevant to this role. Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining Environmental Management Systems. Experience in environmental and heritage compliance and management during development and operations. Proficiency in using GIS and environmental databases, ideally Envirosys. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong negotiation abilities. Experience with the management and remediation of contaminated sites is highly desirable.
