    Working in a competitive commercial environment, the role of

    • Environmental Construction Supervisor
    • with the Soil Conservation Service (SCS) is responsible for the on-site delivery of environmental and earthworks projects for clients, with a focus on erosion control, soil and water management, site remediation, fire trail / track construction and creek restoration.
    • To Do This You Will
    • Oversee the daily on-site running of environmental construction projects and programs, including the on-site supervision for junior field staff and contractors.
    • Assist senior staff to investigate, develop and scope solutions for natural resource management issues.
    • Ensure project quality and safety, whilst also assisting to maintain budgets and project resources.
    • Professionally represent and promote the SCS to help develop effective partnerships with internal staff and contractors.
    • Work as a colleague with teams and areas to resource projects with a whole of area team approach.
    • Some of the locations we have work available include
    • Sydney
    • Hornsby, Parramatta, Windsor, Cronulla.
    • Hunter
    • Newcastle, Central Coast, Morpeth & Upper Hunter areas.
    • About You
    • To be successful you'll need to be someone who can successfully supervise and deliver environmental construction projects and programs. You'll also need to have computer literacy and great communication skills.

      Experience and / or knowledge in plant operations and costing projects is also desirable - but what's more important is your ability to supervise others and deliver projects on time, within scope and on budget.

      While safety needs to remain your number one priority, our focus is high-quality project delivery, and demonstrated experience in delivering efficiencies whilst maintaining standards will be highly regarded.

      A current NSW driver licence combined with the willingness and ability to travel across NSW (including overnight stays) is also required.
