Davidson are working with a state government client who is seeking an experienced Principal Project Officer.
About the Role
This role will be operating from within the Commercial Evaluation Team, you will be involved in economic and commercial analyses and the provision of advice on the development and management of financial incentive and funding agreements that aim to boost Queensland’s economic development and competitiveness.
You will be involved in facilitating the execution of funding agreements, liaising with program and sectoral areas. You will be responsible for the management of agreements that have been executed under various incentive programs and fulfilling various reporting requirements.
You will have agreement management responsibilities for several funding agreements under various programs from execution to maintenance and expiration which will include; initial condition precedent and financial and special conditions assessments / verifications, claims verifications, site visits, preparation of variations, preparation of briefs to execute variations, preparation of briefs to seek financial delegate approvals of claims and termination.
As required, you may also assist with other functions in Commercial Evaluation and Management such as financial and commercial analysis, including value-for-money, economic evaluation and assessment of projects and proposals submitted under funding programs and initiatives.
