Hydraulic / Cylinder Fitter

Job descriptionRepair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders used in a variety of applications. Strip, measure, inspect and report on all components. Cleaning and preparing components. Assemble and testing of cylinders. Attend and participate in toolbox talks. Ensuring a safe and tidy workspace is maintained. A relevant trade qualification (Fitter, Hydraulics). Hydraulic and hydraulic cylinder repair knowledge and experience preferred not essential. Experience in strip and inspect reporting (critical measurements, parts identification & information gathering). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong communication skills with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Valid driver’s licence and demonstrate safety first mind-set.
