In this role you will primarily contribute to digital product and solution creation through solution design activities for both internal Jacobs functions and for external clients.
The Solutions Architect role will lead the identification and development of solution that harness digital opportunities while also supporting various functional groups (Water, Environment, Transport, Energy, Advanced Manufacturing, Cities & Places, Life Sciences, and Digital Solutions) with business development and consulting activities.
The role requires awareness of and ability to apply appropriate elements of enterprise, data, technology, and application architecture frameworks, methods, and processes.
Consulting activities include engagement with client stakeholders at all levels, from end-users to CxO, developing solution requirements and communicating solution design.
The solution architect will leverage Jacobs existing tools, technologies and approaches, alongside identifying new opportunities to integrate new partner components (or develop new enterprise solutions and platforms).
The Solution Architect will document solutions design options and collaborate with a range of development teams, based both locally and globally, to ensure designs are understood, implementable and robust.
