Horse Trainer

Rosemont is based on multiple farms less than 20 minutes from Geelong, Victoria. We require a highly motivated Horse Trainer to join our expanding organisation.

The role of Horse Trainer at Rosemont includes;

This will include :

• Training horses to walk / led correctly
• Training horses stand correctly
• Training horses to obey instructions
• Training young horses to accept gear / tack
• Training horses to accept bandaging, injections
• Training Maiden Mares to accept foals
• General horse care - cleaning, grooming and feeding horses
• Caring for sick horses including treating / bandaging minor wounds
• Experience with Horse Training
• Experience with Horse handling
• Good Communication skills
• Basic stable management
• Salary
• 60,000 - $65,000 per annum + Super

Employment will be on a full-time basis
