PACE Appointments is currently seeking Q ualified and experienced Maintenance Fitters for multiple full-time, permanent positions with a range of respected clients located throughout Brisbane, QLD.
Locations : Inner Brisbane Suburbs, Ipswich
Shifts : Rotating rosters and Day shifts
Rates : $49 - $52ph with potential increases by end of year (client dependant)
Work rights : In country 482 VISA applicants considered
This role will be a part of a team who provide day to day preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs of the plant.
Responsibilities
- Preventative maintenance on fixed plant machinery
- Routine inspections, servicing
- Fault finding and diagnostic repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic machines.
- Welding and fabricating
- Attending breakdowns and emergencies
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks, parts used, and time spent, utilizing computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work unsupervised and complete tasks in required time frame.
