Heidelberg Materials Australia (formerly Hanson) has opportunities for a Casual Quarry Operator at one of our sites north of Brisbane. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, we seek applicants with experience in quarry operations, a passion for safety, and a strong work ethic. The role is casual with potential to transition to full-time for the right candidate.

Financials Competitive hourly rate : $36.50 - $40.30ph inclusive of 25% casual loading. Overtime pay : Time and a half after 8 hours, double time thereafter. About The Role Operate mobile equipment including dump trucks, front-end loaders, and excavators. Operate crushing and screening plant. Perform general fixed plant maintenance and inspections. Assist with various quarry tasks during busy periods. Commit to Zero Harm and demonstrate safety leadership. Follow pre-start and maintenance procedures for fixed and mobile plant. Background And Experience Required Experience in quarrying or mining. Experience operating front-end loaders, dump trucks, and / or excavators. Ability to work independently and in a team.
