Factory Fabrication Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Factory Fabrication Manager to join our fast paced team at Heritage Glass Products

• Airport West.
• The Factory Fabrication Manager will be responsible for managing, coordinating and organising the day-to-day operations within our Airport West Factory, including but not limited to;
• Lead, manage and supervise daily operations to ensure, client and company needs are met.
• Gathering information, identifying bottlenecks and problems, and recommending / implementing solutions.
• Collaborating with management to identify and develop strategies, processes, and projects to improve competence, productivity, and profitability.
• Manage and track project fabrication and problem-solving to help manage any setbacks.
• Developing and implementing systems and processes that drive consistency, efficiency, and quality
• Providing leadership to production team to motivate a professional and effective team culture.
• Appropriate staffing and resource management of factory personnel including drivers and fabricators
• Manage and oversee Quality, Occupational Health & Safety compliance
• Oversee maintenance of building and equipment, trucks & forklift.
• Monitor inventory and ensure availability and efficiencies of stock control.
• Ensure effective skills and training programs are met and implemented
• Co-ordination of logistics in conjunction with project managers
• Be hands on when required
• About You

Knowledge in commercial aluminium preferred (but not essential)

Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills

Safety conscious and committed to maintaining a strong workplace health and safety focus

Good Leadership and communication skills

Good organisational and time management

Safety management and awareness

Good problem solving skills

Basic PC skills in Excel, Word

Well-presented

Forklift license

• Salary
• 80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
