About Supernormal Brisbane :
Supernormal Brisbane opened in July 2024, and is the first venue for Trader House outside of Melbourne. The space is light and welcoming, with warm hues and textures and views that extend over the river and Storey Bridge. It's an incredible and unique vantage point, with a brand new state-of-the-art kitchen and stellar team, making it a pleasure to come to work each day.
The menu features classics from its Melbourne counterpart, alongside new dishes that explore local produce and connect with Queensland's farmers, fishers and foragers.
Our team experiences all the Trader House benefits, training, mentorship and support from the wider management team.

Trader House is a collective of restaurants, bars, and specialty retail stores by Melbourne-based chef, cookbook author and columnist Andrew McConnell and photographer Jo McGann. They are Gimlet at Cavendish House, Apollo Inn, Cutler, Supernormal, Cumulus Inc., Marion, Builders Arms Hotel, Bar Miette, Meatsmith Heritage Butcher and Morning Market.
About the role :
This is a rare opportunity for a career-focused chef to make an impact in a newly opened restaurant. The role involves working closely with the Executive Chef, Jason Barratt and the management team to create a seasonal, balanced, contemporary and dynamic offering.
