About the roleWe are recruiting for an experienced employment services senior manager to lead the delivery of the Federal Government funded
Transition to Work (TtW)program across multiple states.The base location can be either Perth or Adelaide but frequent travel across multiple states will be required. There is a very competitive salary package on offer including tax savings through salary sacrificing and use of a vehicle or a vehicle allowance. A nine day fortnight (with a full time salary) is also on offer, as a genuine commitment to a work life balance.
Skills and experience requiredPrevious experience in a similar leadership role in the employment services sectorAn understanding of the contractual and operational environment of the employment services sector such as compliance frameworks, service delivery and managing stakeholder relationshipsThe ability to coach and mentor high performing teams, lead by example, and motivate teams and other leaders in challenging circumstancesExperience engaging with Federal Government Departments and other key stakeholders to strengthen relationships and promote growth opportunitiesExperience developing national strategies and employment initiatives to generate suitable education and employment outcomesBe able to work effectively and collaboratively with other parts of the business to initiate and deliver pre-employment and micro credential programs for young people, in line with labour market shortages and needsAbility to develop and maintain detailed reports that monitor all aspects of the program and ensure continuous improvement of processesExcellent verbal and written communication skills particularly in negotiation, relationship management and influencingThe ability to be both strategic and operational, with a solutions-focused mindsetPossess a Certificate IV in Employment Services / Career Development / Youth or aboveCultural competence in engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and CALD / Refugee Participants, and other stakeholdersA full driving licence and a willingness to travel frequently both inter and intra-stateThe ability to obtain a current clear Police Check and Working with Children CheckApplicationsresume and cover letter in word formatthrough the "Apply" button.
