- About the Role
Vines Therapy is seeking a visionary Clinical Excellence Lead in Speech and Language Therapy to drive innovation, client-centered care, and quality improvement across our practice domains. As part of our "Ambitious for You" approach, the Clinical Excellence Lead will provide strategic and clinical leadership for speech therapy services in the Child Development, Adolescent and Adult Therapy, and Psychosocial Wellbeing domains.
This role will be pivotal in advancing our quality of care, integrating evidence-based practices, and enhancing multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. The Clinical Excellence Lead will report to the Clinical Director and work closely with other team leaders and allied health professionals to ensure cohesive, high-quality care across Vines Therapy's service offerings.

- Champion Client-Centered Speech Therapy
- Lead and strategically develop speech therapy services across Vines Therapy's domains, enhancing client care and outcomes.
- Drive Evidence-Based Practice
- Integrate the latest research into clinical protocols, ensuring speech therapy practices are current and effective.
- Use approaches such as PROMPT therapy, LSVT LOUD, and cognitive-communication interventions to support client goals.
- Lead Quality Improvement Initiatives
- Spearhead quality projects to enhance client outcomes, optimize therapy processes, and streamline services. - Examples include reducing client wait times, improving assessment protocols, and enhancing adherence to evidence-based guidelines.
- Foster a Culture of Growth
- Work closely and collaboratively with the Clinical Director and Practice Leads to equip and enhance the skills and competency of Speech Therapists, ensuring their growth and development aligns with best practices in client-centered care.
- Promote an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
- Enhance Transdisciplinary Collaboration
- Integrate speech therapy within multidisciplinary care teams, working alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and psychologists to provide holistic care.
- Identify and Address Performance Gaps
- Use data-driven insights to identify and address gaps in care quality, ensuring high standards of client satisfaction are consistently achieved.
- Implement Training and Professional Development
- Develop training programs and provide ongoing professional development opportunities to the speech therapy team, ensuring they are well-equipped with the latest evidence-based tools and approaches.
- Maintain a Balanced Caseload
- Retain a balanced caseload to stay clinically engaged, ensuring practical insights into the care being provided. The initial caseload is set at 68 bookings per month, with each booking equivalent to 1.5 hours. Caseload review and adjustment will be conducted as needed.
- Key Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of 10 years of clinical experience, with demonstrated leadership in clinical excellence.
- Strong experience leading projects, quality improvement initiatives, and mentoring teams.
- Proven track record in managing initiatives, such as treatment model implementation, research coordination, and team development.
- Proficiency in using technology to enhance clinical interventions, data analysis, and quality improvement.
