We currently have an exciting opportunity for Trainee Furniture Repairer to join an industry leader in imported furniture such as dining tables, chairs, lounges, and entertainment units based in

• YOUR ROLE
• Attend scheduled service calls at customer homes to inspect furniture.
• Assembling furniture as required.
• Evaluate damages and select appropriate methods of repair and / or restoration for wood furniture, leather, fabric, and upholstery.
• Reporting on all outcomes of service calls.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving to offer the best solution for the customer.

• About you
• Experience in a similar role (preferable)
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Knowledge of wood repairs including scratches, dents, and splits.
• Can perform upholstery repairs including structural / internal mechanism replacements.
• Previous experience assembling furniture
• Be a self-motivated started able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Hold a current Driver's License.
