Junior Product Manager

12 Month Contract to commence in March - Hybrid
Our Client is an innovative organisation on the Northern Beaches with its products being a well-known household name.
The Role :
Bring your recent business / marketing qualifications to this Junior Product Management role where you will assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans for assigned channels and customers. You will also be responsible for the product lifecycle management and development of packaging.
Responsibilities :
Product Management – working with Senior Marketing team to achieve the following :
Management of the product life cycle including system set up, creation of sales sheets, launch, manage version changes, range reviews through to deletion and exit plansTimely communication of product information through the business with emphasis on the internal and external sales teamsMaintain a comprehensive live article listing, creation and maintenance of the annual catalogueManage the availability of product content, including product images, content for the sales team and customer marketing materials, Safety Data Sheets and latest product sustainability informationDevelopment and optimization of packaging with a view to ‘green initiatives’Competitor analysis to ensure a comprehensive map of the competitor landscape and identify gaps in marketManagement of local website contentBuild a new product development funnel for the channels capturing local opportunitiesCustomer Marketing – working with Senior Marketing team to achieve the following :
Working closely with sales teams and with customers to coordinate and maximise instore, catalogue and online initiativesDevelop end to end customer and consumer marketing campaigns and promotionsAttend customer meetings, trade shows and conferences to support the sales teamSkills / Experience :
Either 1-2 years + in a similar role or a strong admin / project coordination backgroundProfessional confident and proactive approach to workHigh attention to detail and time management skillsProcess oriented with strong planning skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsTeam player with a proactive approachComfortable with numbers, sales analysis, product costs and margin calculationsDegree qualified in related discipline or previous similar experience / strong project management admin exp.FRENCHS FOREST LOCATION - ONSITE PARKING
Generous Salary package dependent on skills and experience
