Gymnastics Manager

This is a great opportunity for a Gymnastics Manager to take on a Full Time role at our growing centre, based in Hawthorn East VIC.!

• The Role

Successful applicant will have relevant experience managing a team of varied personalities, ages, and skill levels, can maintain a high standard of training for new and existing staff, and will manage the day to day operation of multiple gymnastics programs from Kinder to Teens, Recreational to Competitive.

The position does not require Gymnastics coaching experience however it is favourable due to the nature of the business. Training will be provided. Afternoon and evening availability a must.

You will oversee the day to day management and operation of the various Gymnastics programs in the facility. To co-ordinate and supervise the day-to-day responsibilities of the Gymnastics Coaches in the facility. As well as to provide training, feedback and supervision of Beginner Gymnastics Coaches, as well as mentorship and guidance for all staff within the facility.

• QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Experience
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Head Gymnastics Coach.
• Experience in 'WAG' preferred.
• Experience in working with pre-school and school aged children.
• Demonstrated experience in Administration
• Demonstrated experience in promotion of Gymnastics
• Customer Service experience (desirable).

Qualifications :

• Demonstrated experience in lesson planning, floor plans, routines and term programs
• A current Advanced Intermediate Gymnastics and or Intermediate Kindergym qualification.
• Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR certificate.
• A Working with Children Check.
• Gymnastics Australia technical membership.
• Annually Gymnastics qualifications to be updated in accordance with Gymnastics Australia technical membership requirements.

BK facilities and programs will be tailored to the needs of the communities in which they are located and will include gymnastics facilities for 'Learn to Move' programs and swim centres for 'Learn to Swim' programs. They will focus particularly on programs for children aged between 1 and 12 years old, but can be expanded to encompass a wide range of other activities, depending on the specific community needs.

The Gymnastics programs will provide the foundation of this physical literacy and, with a customised facility model and authentic gymnastics programs including Kinder Gym, Gym Fun, Gym Skills and FreeG Kids, and Australian Levels Programs for Men's and Women's Artistic Gymnastics.
