2nd Yr Apprentice Painter

East Coast Apprenticeships have a fantastic opportunity for a 2nd Yr Apprentice Painter!

Are you interested in joining the construction industry and becoming trade qualified?

We are on the hunt for hard working and creative candidates who have experience Painting  and who have already commenced their apprenticeship to join our team as an Apprentice Painter.  Work alongside experienced painters to learn the skills and techniques required to become trade qualified!

With the support of qualified tradespeople, you will :

• Surface preparation  - sanding, filling cracks, and cleaning surfaces.
• Applying proper painting techniques, including brushwork, roller application, and spray painting.
• Mixing and matching paint colours accurately according to project requirements.
• Applying primers, undercoats, and paint coats to surfaces with precision and attention to detail.
• Applying wallpaper including measuring, cutting, and hanging wallpaper.
• Cleaning and maintaining painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations and using PPE.
• Assisting with decorative finishes, such as faux painting, stencilling, or special effects.
• Interacting with clients in a professional and courteous manner, understanding their requirements and ensuring customer satisfaction.
