Drill Fitter

We are looking for an experienced Drill Fitter to join our Mining – Geotechnical team at our KCGM (Kalgoorlie), WA operations.

This will be ongoing, long-term project work.Both full-time and casual positions available.

Local to Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth.

Roster is 8 : 6 – day shift only.The RoleThe primary purpose of this position is to assist the Project staff in all aspects of the daily business activities associated with the maintenance services on Site.This role would ideally suit someone who has a positive attitude towards safety, training & environment.

Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork.Key Responsibilities : Performing scheduled drill servicing across : Custom Built High Reach Drill Rigs on Kato SR300L & Kato KR25H-V6 Crane Chassis,Sandvik DX800R Remote Control Drill Rigs,Vermeer Directional Drills,Manitou MTX-1840-A Telehandlers W' Work Platforms.Maintaining and servicing ancillary light vehicles, LV trailers, heavy support trucks, mobile air compressors, shotcrete & grout machines.Providing technical guidance & field service support to operations personnel.Training & support to other SRG employees.Liaising with OEM's & suppliers on technical issues and parts requisitions.Conducting Onhire / Offhire Inspections of Equipment.The successful applicant will have : HR Divers Licence.Drill Fitter Trade Certificate.A working knowledge of Sandvik and Epiroc top hammer drilling equipment.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment.Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.Working knowledge of Crane Carriers.High Risk Work Licence - HRWL - DG (Dogman) or RB (Rigging).About UsSRG Global Mining Services is a leading drill and blast provider that offers an integrated range of complementary technical services to significantly improve safety and productivity on your mine site.SRG Offer : Competitive remuneration and benefits package commensurate with experience.Corporate discounts for travel and health insurance.Novated leases.Smart salary (salary packaging).Professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.SRG Global fully supports and promotes organic growth within our organisation.
