Job description

Desktop Support Engineer required for a 6-month engagement providing internal support to End-Users.

  • Maintain core IT infrastructure and provide support_

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Desktop Support Officer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical support to our organisation's end-users, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

  • Responsibilities
  • Respond to service requests in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of support activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues, including network connectivity problems
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software as needed
  • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate resources and follow up to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working order and that backups are performed regularly
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical end-users in a clear and concise manner
  • Follow established policies and procedures for resolving technical issues
  • Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a service desk or technical support role
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with hardware and software installations
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
