- Contract start 22 January 2024 to 12 months, with 2 x 12 months extensions.
The Digital Services Division (DSD) is responsible for enabling ICT functions and activities within the department. It provides a secure, modern ICT environment to support 24 / 7 departmental operations and outcomes.
The Digital Platforms and Products Branch manages wholesale digital platforms and services that underpin the department's retail digital products and systems. It sets architectural guardrails for digital system design and implementation, promotes sustainability, and fosters innovation. The branch drives and supports DevOps adoption to enable faster, more robust IT delivery, including testing practices. It manages digital platforms related to Information and Records Management, ERP Systems, and Web Systems.
The successful candidate will work autonomously and possess strong stakeholder management skills. Key qualifications and experience include :
Program management (or 5+ years project management) experience in delivering ICT programs or multiple projects.Proficiency with various delivery methodologies (waterfall, Agile, hybrid).Experience influencing stakeholders and partners to deliver programs within scope, schedule, and budget.Ability to develop program vision and foster a collaborative team culture.Experience preparing Board papers and briefing materials for SES audiences.Knowledge of program governance, including planning, financials, reporting, risk management, dependency management, and federal procurement processes.Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders.Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.Resilience and flexibility to navigate ambiguity and conflicting priorities under pressure.Applicants must address the selection criteria below as part of their application :
