About the Role

Were seeking a skilled Workshop Fitter to join our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a day shift 6am 2pm with overtime to the Site Services Manager youll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
  • Working within the Workshop on machinery overhauls and assisting with tooling changeovers on the production line.
  • Contribute to project work including installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Work with high-speed manufacturing equipment working to tight tolerances and precision.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.

  • Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.
  • Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in manufacturing environments.
  • Precision fitting experience and knowledge working to microns.
