As a Rehabilitation Consultant within personal injury insurance schemes, you will have a central role in guiding clients back to their pre-accident life and meeting their return-to-work goals. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure tailored, successful outcomes that are responsive to each client's needs. This role emphasises meaningful engagement and a holistic approach to recovery, enabling clients to reach their full potential.
What you will be doing :
- Manage a personal portfolio of clients, independently organizing your schedule.
- Deliver return-to-work services for claimants under personal injury insurance schemes.
- Source appropriate employment opportunities for injured clients with compatible employers.
- Conduct in-depth transferable skills analysis, labour market research, and earning capacity evaluations.
- Prepare for and lead medical case conferences, providing concise summaries of outcomes.
- Identify and address barriers to return-to-work objectives, creating SMART goal strategies.
- Maintain high-quality communication with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, healthcare providers, employers, insurance teams, and legal representatives.

Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology or Rehabilitation CounsellingCurrent registration with relevant professional bodies (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, RCAA)A car and drivers licenceA National Police Clearance and Working With Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)Interested in this position?
