Job Description

ACAP is seeking several dedicated sessional Social Work Educators who are passionate about their field and excited to teach the next generation of professionals.

Opportunities are available at both our Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide Campuses.

• We are seeking experts in one or more of the following subject matters;

Community work, social action, public policyGroupwork, family workAgeing, Disability and Complex CareWork with First Nations PeopleTrauma Informed practiceResearch methodsAdditional knowledge areas :

Teaching classes : All of our classes are three hour interactive workshops, the great majority of which are taught in person on campus.Marking assignments and performing administrative tasks associated with the classesResponding to student enquiries and providing advice as requiredTeaching from one of our campuses (Sydney or Melbourne).Full time or part time for a specific period, 13 weeks per trimester, with the opportunity in exceptional circumstances, to assume the role of Unit Coordinator

Qualifications

A Social Work qualification - Masters level preferredMembership or eligibility for membership of the AASWExtensive experience as a practicing Social Worker
