Join a Leading Australian Food Manufacturer as our National Safety & Environment Manager Are you an experienced HSE professional ready to lead safety and environmental excellence at a national level? PMFresh, a leading player in fresh food manufacturing, is seeking a dynamic and hands-on National Safety & Environment Manager to shape and drive our WHS and environmental programs across Australia.

About the Role As our National Safety & Environment Manager, you'll be a key member of the senior leadership team, championing the health, safety, and wellbeing of our people. You'll lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our HSE systems, ensuring we not only meet but exceed legislative requirements. This is a national leadership role with direct accountability for the safety performance of our flagship Homebush site.

You will work cross-functionally with operational leaders, site WHS coordinators, and frontline teams to build a safety-first culture and embed sustainable environmental practices across our sites.

Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of a robust Health, Safety & Environment Management System (HSEMS).Drive proactive safety initiatives, training, audits, and investigations to minimise workplace risk.Oversee environmental compliance and champion sustainability programs across our operations.Provide expert guidance on workers' compensation, return-to-work programs, and injury management.Influence safety culture through leadership, engagement, and visible support at all levels of the business.Deliver accurate HSE reporting and insights to the senior leadership team with a focus on continuous improvement.What You'll Bring Minimum Cert IV in WHS (tertiary qualifications preferred).3–5 years' experience in a similar national or multi-site HSE role—ideally in manufacturing or food production.In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation, codes of practice, and environmental standards.Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coach and influence at all levels.Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and safety systems implementation.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to lead by example.Why PMFresh?
