    • Our first 12 months as part of the Epiroc Group is here and we are expanding!

      We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our high performing team as an

    • Electrical Apprentice
    • based at our
    • Electrical Workshop in Perth.
    • This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and mechanically minded individual to secure long term work whilst earning excellent rates.

    • Your day will consist of
    • Supporting the Perth workshop Switchboard manufacturing team
    • Local and FIFO project work as required
    • On and off the job training to become a future well trained electrical tradesman
    • JTMEC is committed to providing industry leading training to it's employees, with training opportunities in a number of areas including :

    • High Voltage Terminations
    • High Voltage Switching
    • Battery Electric Vehicle Training
    • Fibre Optic Training
    • Project Management
    • Instrumentation
    • High risk work licenses. EWP etc.
    • As well as providing individualised training plans for our team members.

    • TO BE SUCCESSFUL
    • To be successful, you will have the desire and passion to commit to an ongoing learning program made up of theory and practical activities both within a workshop and classroom environment. You will understand and commit to a ZERO harm culture, and have the ability to communicate with confidence. It is also expected that you will :

    • Have the ability pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing alcohol and other drugs testing
    • Have a current police clearance (or the ability to obtain one)
    • Be a self-starter who is reliable, honest and takes pride in your work
    • Have the ability to work both as a member of a team as well as independently
    • Be willing to travel and work away from home if required
    • Hold a current WA Driver's Licence (manual preferred)
    • PREFERRED ALTHOUGH NOT ESSENTIAL
    • Working Safely at Heights
    • Confined Space Ticket
    • High Risk Work License - WP
    • LVR / CPR
