Comm Unity Plus Services Ltd (operating as commUnity+) is a multidisciplinary organisation located in Melbourne's western suburbs, delivering a range of prevention and early intervention programs focused on informing and engaging with our community. This is achieved via high quality Adult Community Education, Legal Services (Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre), our Neighbourhood House program and Children's Contact Service, as well as a range of community and individual development activities.
Key Selection Criteria
Tertiary qualifications relevant to career counselling and development, student development or similar together with a Diploma qualification or higher in administration or management would be advantageous for this role.
Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating careers guidance or student support experience within an education setting.
Ability to plan and implement, education, and employment pathways.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with complex internal and external stakeholder queries.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Previous experience with the Adult Migrant English Program or knowledge of adult and community education will be highly regarded.
High level of professionalism, empathy, commitment, and interest working with individuals from diverse and disadvantaged communities
A current Driver's License and the ability to travel between offices is essential for this role
