ABOUT THE ROLEAs a
Bid Manageryou will be working on most of the bid process, coordinating and managing the end-to-end process, ensuring we submit competitive, compliant, and compelling proposals.Key responsibilitiesLead the preparation, submission, and management of high-quality, competitive bids for engineering projects.Set up of projects and proposals in accordance with the Business Management System.Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to gather necessary information and methodologies to develop proposals.Prepare and analyse tender documents, assess client requirements, and coordinate responses in line with company capabilities.Liaise with clients during bid process to gain insights into the tender requirement, address queries and maintain positive client relationshipsEnsure all bids comply with client specifications, timelines, and industry regulations.Develop and maintain bid templates, proposal documents, and project plans to streamline the bidding process.Conduct post-bid reviews and feedback sessions to continually improve future bid submissions.Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as clients, partners, and suppliers throughout the bidding process.Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities.Take responsibility for the overall appearance and formatting of submissions.Coordinate follow up on responses to tender submissions.WHAT WE OFFERExcellent work environment with the opportunity to work alongside industry leadersA vibrant, dynamic environment that rewards self-starters looking for career progressionGreat projects across a range of scales and sectorsA range of employee benefits such as salary sacrificing, health initiatives and great social eventsABOUT YOUProven experience as a Bid Manager or in a similar role within the engineering or construction sectors.Strong understanding of the bid process, including proposal writing, tender submission, and project costing.Exceptional organizational and project management skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.Solid technical design background.Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain client relationships.QualificationsA degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related field is highly preferred.5+ years' experience in a similar roleProficient in use of Word, Excel, Outlook and other office related programs
